As his body mature and he goes thru the typical boxer wright adjustments...can we say that Broner will meet the expectations everyone had on him, or he will be just a another boxer at 140lbs and up¡!
My expectations myst of been quite different from many others , I always felt he was a loudmouth little chubby scumbag with a dodgy chin that would get 1or 2 belts but let's be honest belts these days are almost given away
I think he's best weight is 140 imo I see him winning titles at 140 and becoming undisputed champ if "focused" Enough with the porn acting and complaining to the referee lol
He won't be 'just another fighter', but he most certainly won't be able to become 'the man' at 140 either. He just doen't have the talent to do that, and he won't get many more dodgy decisions either so he has to put the work in to stay relevant. I certainly wouldn't be sad to see him go. He has been paid far more as a fighter of his quality should get, so his career has been a succes already.
He fought his 2 worst fight at welterweight. Light welter (140) is his ideal weight class at the moment and he must try to stick around there. I see him winning a world title again if he keeps focused. Garcia and Matthysse are to much for him. Maybe he'll target Vargas for the WBA title.
You don't know the reasoning behind my post.... It a litmus test ...and is clear we are all in agreement about Broner...he is just a boxer ...nothing more nothing less....IMO he won't be even close to be the Man at 140 or any other weight class !
