Can Bute win a decision in Nottingham where Dirrell proved you can't?

I don't think the Uk is as bad as Germany and some parts of the USA in that regard. I am rooting for Carl but I think Bute will do enough to get a UD. This is one fight I'm looking forward to to see where Bute is in the pecking order at SMW.

 

I feel an avatear bet on this... your out of your mind, froch has the best chin in the business!

i hear what your saying about the advantages and opposition
but to be honest it wouldn't be that big of a shock to me if bute did get the tko. if he can out box froch for the first half of the fight (at a high work rate and with good bodywork, froch doesn't like) then i could see froch sitting on the ropes and taking punishment at which point the ref steps in for a bs stoppage (if you watch closely froch does a good job of riding punches which people never notice) , i feel bute's got the power to force him back but he's got to let the punches go at the right time (i know it was a BS stoppage but JC against manfraydo (spelling?) is a good example )

now if he did get a KO that would impress me

Horrible thread. To the TS....watch the fight. Dirrel won about 1:29 of 5 rounds. He lost 2 minutes of 7 rds. Figure it out.

I coulda gave Froch that fight 9-3, but I respectfully gave Dirrel 5.:rofl

Probably it will be one judge form England , one from Canada and one from USA. If this fight is gonna be close , Froch will win it because of that "hometown advantage" but it won't be the case because Bute will outclass Froch:yep.

 

I had draw before point deduction and that was looking for a reason for froch not to win, the man is very under rated as a boxer, got about as close to beat kessler as possible without actually doing it and lost to a man who is truly on a different planet to everyone in the SMW division,

When I first heard the fight got signed I was thinking Bute UD, but the more I think about it, the more I can't help think I've only ever once thought he would lose, and Bute is not Wards level, Froch UD

I think Bute can win, of course the close rounds usually go to the home fighter so Bute will have to win convincingly. What bothers me is Bute is not looking healthy in many picutres I have seen of him lately. He should be training hard and keeping better care of his body all the time.
