Can Bute win a decision in Nottingham where Dirrell proved you can't?

Its not the hair I was a little surprised how much the shape of his face has changed. His face is looking pudgy. Maybe he has just filled out some the last little while.

Dirrell fought like a homosexual ***git. That's why he lost.
Our refs are pathetic and iv seen awful judgin here before but we are miles ahead of Germany and Texas for fair decisions.

Tim Bradley got his rightful decision here so did Winky Wright.

I wasn't aware that the UK even had a rep for bad score cards?

Everybody who isn't a Dirrel nutt-hugger will tell you that he fought like a *****. The fight was close, but you can't expect to win a title in somebody else's hometown by fighting the way he did.

I think it's about ageing , the body changes and begins to have a slowly metabolism. Bute had/has some problems with the weight at 168 , thats why he's planning to move at LHW .

I have an explication for that. I have heard that Buté is a big fan of poutine (call it pu-teen) . It's a culinary dish from « La belle province of Quebec»
Poutine is a mix of french fries, fresh cheese in pieces and brown gravy. We call also the fresh cheese « squwick-squick» because it's the sound produced by the cheese when we put it in the mouth. Many times a week, Buté goes at « La Banquise» in Montreal. One of the best restaurant for the poutine.
Poutine is good but it gives some baby's fatty...:DHappy first of april, but poutine is true:D

Bute was in the best shape of his life against Johnson just a few months ago. I think he just takes a few pounds between fights.

It's a salient point. I can see the agricultural Mr Froch being 'gifted' a number of rounds; ineffectual aggression together with a heady crowd has often proved to be an irresistible delicacy for undisciplined judges.

If you're part of team Bute, you've got to play the psychological game; you've gotta put the pressure on to stave off the pickpockets. You've gotta be screaming and hollering the week before the fight about the veracity of a series past decisions that've occurred in Britain; it's got to be outlandish, notorious; it has to beget column inches. Place a huge magnifying glass over the event, demand parity.

agreed. I had Dirrell winning by a large margin, but he certainly could have been more convincing, and I wasn't counting rabbit punches as legal hits.

Well when your clinching every two seconds then "slipping" onto the floor every time your opponent is on the offensive then you deserve to get deducted a point

Comparing that to Khan pushing to create room so he can actually fight is ridiculous

Dirrell could have won but he chose to spoil and avoid getting to knocked out

Poutine kicks ass. My dad is Acadian, and poutine is pretty much all I got from that. It's even better when there's chunks of meat in there, like duck or something.

Good to see some Bute fans bringing a bit of reality to this nonsensical thread.
Most of us are happy Bute's willing to travel. The Dirrell fight doesn't come close to what happened in the first Andrade fight.(sorry guys, you know I've stated before it was only a bad night, and the rematch straightened things out.Just responding to the drivelous thread.) There would be more concern for Froch fans if the fight were in Montreal.
I'm sure Bute more than anyone feels he won't need to rely on a close scorecard,if it's very close, most people would expect the home fighter's fans to sway the judges. It's part of boxing nowadays I'm afraid. If it goes the distance,I fear Froch could be well behind.
    But it won't.:nono:smooch:bart

I have ate that stuff before its tastes good, but no wonder he is getting fat. If he works real hard its lots of fuel though. Fat is one of the main sources of energy. He should be working harder though because he is starting to store it on his body. Its amazing how much weight he has put on since the Johnson fight.
