I like particulary the third picture. Peoples on stage are all looking at the crowd, like saying« What a F... crazy crowd!» I was there for the weight-in, the place was full and we were NOISY !!!

    @ Brickhaus

For Quebec's poutine, it's a lttle different than acadian. in Acadia, New-Brunswick and all, they call it poutine rapé, and it's more a traditional meal, no french fries, but boiled potatoes with pork, and as you said, other meat or game.
But Quebec's poutine is born in a region ( Bois-franc, cities: Victoriaville, Plessisville, Drummondville) who counts many people from Acadia.
So, they take the same name. If we put some chicken and green peas, we call it « Galvaude».
But Quebec's poutine is not good diet for boxers!!:D
It's too fatty, ... but I like it, one time a month. My favorite is Italian ( meat tomato sauce replace the brown gravy)

Dirrell won a close fight IMO, but the decision went the other way in Froch's hometown. It's karma I guess, because I thought Froch beat Kessler. Bute needs to dominate to win a decision. Froch is slow (see the Dirrell and Ward fights) has no inside game to speak of (see the Ward fight) and has to hope the other guy will just stand there and let him tee off.

3 reasons for his look. First, he got to England and came back in a 48 hours period. Two jetlags in a so short period makes you a bit tired. Second, we don't know what was the lengths of the photographer, that can make your face as round as you want to (also the angle of the shoot is not the best to look good). Third, Bute began his training camp for a fight in mid April and had to stop it before starting a new one for the end of May. I think they wanted him to rest to avoid to over train. As some other posters have said, he didn't have the same look at all 4 days after the picture has been taken.

On the topic, I won't predict a robbery because it is in Great Britain. The judges will be neutral (Jean Bédard confirmed it at the press conference). Of course, the crowd will have an impact but that's part of the game when you go on the other fighter's turf. If Bute has a good start and land some big punches, the crowd could become very quiet. A quiet crowd also has an influence on the judges. Bottom: the crowd will have an effect only on a very tight fight. It's up to Bute to make things clear.

Absolutely pathetic display of cowardice. I hate to call any pro fighter a coward, but if the shoe fits......I am a Wlad Klitschko fan so I've had to learn to appreaciate a bit about defensive holding. But Dirrel actually lunges to hold after Froch lands anything, and everytime Carl get's within range Dirrel ties up.
On an aside, Carl is landing, albeit not as cleanly, more than Dirrel. Dirrel is about 2 inches short with his shots most the time, and Carl is punching thru.

Then, the only defense Dre seems to have is either illegal(holding constantly or dipping way below the waist and then holding) and running which don't win rounds.

Bute can roll with shots, take em off the gloves, take a punch without fear of being hurt, and can counter effectively without fear of Carls countering him.
Two totally different fighters. I wonder, as far as Andrade has fallen, if Dre could even outbox the aging Mexican over 12 rds.:think

Sorry but Dirrell won about 8 rounds. Bute should be a little concerned about biased referee and judges, but I feel he will just knock Froch out anyways.

Bute's best fight as of yet.

Froch's second best fight as of yet.

It's going to be a memorable night, and a lot at stake for both fighters. Bute's career is going to sky-rocket after this...

Dirrel lost the fight and is at his own fault on this

    he gave the fight away

Bute will go for it and is a better fighter than Dirrel

We dnt score roundsin bunches tho u scoreit one round at a time if a fighter holds and runs a couple rounds u dnt take off 6 points u feel me?dirrell gave up 3 maybe 4 rounds regardless of how he fought ib those rounds, unless the ref deducts a point u dnt give the guy extra points. He clearly won 8-4, 9-3 in that area.

The recent Froch vs. Bute threads shocked me. Prior to this Bute was trashed like mad, considered a bum and now you barely see someone picking Froch for this one.

On the contrary, The Dirrel fight proved you CAN win a decision there.

That was a close fight and so were the cards 115-112 twice for Froch and 114-113 for Dirrel.

So yes, if Bute does it more "convincingly" than Dirrel he can win on points.

Sorry but running around and flopping on the floor and grabbing, holding, clinching and wrestling anytime your opponent got close is not going to win you a fight and that is what Dirrell did.
