They should have a new rule on ESB.

The moderators should introduce an entrance boxing exam. If you fail, then you can't become a member of ESB Forum. This eliminates posters who make stupid threads like mexican legend.

I don't believe Joe Calzaghe sits down on his punches enough these days in order to drop somebody of Margarito's quality.

However, considering the difference in size, Joe Calzaghe should be able to drop Margarito if he puts enough power into a right hand, but he won't be putting him to sleep. Not now, not in his prime. People saying Margarito has been dropped before, are correct, but that was before he was champion and he got straight back up. Make no mistake about it, Margarito demonstrates one of the best chins in the sport today.

Kessler drops Margarito, but today's version of Calzaghe...don't think so.

As a side note Mexican Legend, don't be put down by some of the things people are saying on this thread. I believe your question is a valid one, and there is a lot of speculation around whether or not Calzaghe could drop Margarito. Joe isn't a big hitter, he stops opponents by accumilation but this version of Joe doesn't drop the Cotto version of Margarito, in my opinion. Like I said, don't worry about some of the bull**** people say in response. It's exactly that.

You exposed yourself as a Pavlik nuthugger and a Winky hater. I didn't say Winky beats Kessler, I would edge towards Winky, with a good tune-up first, against Pavlik and Abraham, as I already said.

However, weren't you the one who said a prime Hopkins has a chance of beating Pavlik (just a chance?), and now said he has no chance. You also said you would pick Pavlik to beat Bute, Kessler and Calzaghe, which I have no objection to although personally I think he would struggle with all 3, however you said you think Calzaghe would be an easy fight.

You also said you would pick Santos, Spinks, Sturm to beat Winky and think you Kirkland would put him on the canvas.

    it's possible

calzaghes opponents are WAY bigger and so, to them, his punches don't feel that hard but compared to someone who is 20 + smaller they could be devastating.
