i think people underate calzaghes power as he didn't look like he hurt hopkins but we all saw how good hopkins chin was in the pavlik fight, so can calzaghe get the ko victory against roy jones?

Nobody underrates Calzaghe power the problem is his hands are delicate and he can not put throw full power conventional punches and uses "a different part of the glove" to throw flurries.

No he can't unless he throws a normal punch and even then it's questionable.

from what i have heard coming out of the JC camp is his hands are holding up really well and that you will see power from the hands of JC like we used to see which should be good.

He hasn't knocked anyone out since "Working man", Tyler Hughs in 1997.

It does to JonOli judging by the multiple threads he's made about it.

    Yes they are different.

The question to the thread was can he knock out Roy Jones - "can he put him down". I say unlikely seeing as the last time he put someone down for the ten count was in 1997.

If it's about TKO (which it isn't judging by the way the thread was worded) I say yes he can. I can see Jones stamina in such a state that he throws next to nothing back and it gets stopped.

A TKO can be scored when they go down too. It simply means they beat the count.
