He already beat Trout, who most considered #1 at 154..

Next seems like Cotto, definite win IMO.

He will probably fight the winner of Lara/Angulo, at some point as there both gb.

Smith/molina. Winner. Will be. A champ. And. On canelos raidar..

I think he clearly beats all those guys, with the exception being Lara, 50/50 fight imo.

If he did, does he crack top. Ten. P4p???

Kid is good, but I think he should avoid Molina. Molina is a definite spoiler and will make anyone look bad.

He's definitely going to beat Cotto. Just look at the ease in which he beat Trout. Cotto don't stand a chance.

Regardless, he's going to beat the Angulo/Lara winner. I don't see either of these guys giving him trouble. He will also beat Mayweather, if Mayweather finally stops being a little coward.

Like I said, he should just avoid a fight with Molina if at all possible.

Canelo's stamina will be his undoing against a guy like molina who doesn't let you breathe.

Canelo is not a light middleweight. The reason he gets so tired in his 154lb fights is because he's drained. He's either a super middleweight or a middleweight. He needs to move up and fight Gennady Golovkin and Sergio Martinez then move up and fight Ward. I think if he ups his workrate greatly he could beat Martinez since he's shot. The Golovkin fight would be a 50/50 fight.

Ward is not as invincible as people think. He hasn't fought once since his major right shoulder injury so Ward might have declined and it could be a fresh picking for Canelo.

The point is Canelo is only 22 years old, he can only get better, within 2-3 years.

I think Cotto is vastly underrated. He definitly can make an upset, and Im sure is gonna be a competitive and very difficult fight for Álvarez.

sure, with the help of gbp.

    http://compuboxonline.com/compubox-stats-alvarez-w-12-trout/

how in the **** did Stanley Christodoulou have canelo up nine points going into the ninth when trout outlanded canelo by twice as many punches in rounds 1, 5, 6 and 8?

and canelo never outlanded trout by twice as many punches in any round?

gbp is going to turn boxing into the wwf.

youre a complete moron if you think canelo is going to have any success at 160 let alone 168.

he looked small against trout...a normal-sized jmw. he gets tired because hes going to have problems with all the jmw's because of his size disadvantage.

every single contender at 154 is going to be bigger, if not noticeably bigger(Rosado), than the 5'7" canelo.

Lara is will beat his ass. Molina stands a great chance of beating his ass. Rosado stands a good chance of beating his ass. Love could out Box him. Andrade may be able to out Box him. Smith may out work him. Martirosyan may out work him.

I seriously doubt Alvarez can clean out 154. He just doesn't punch enough.

He looked small, thats so objective. It doesn't matter what your eyes see the only thing that matters are the numbers on the scale and Canelo was 172lb that night. He can definitely have success at 160 and 168, he can easily make 168 and he would be draining himself 101b+ to make 160.
