Before the Floyd fight I bet he could have done 700-800k but now I am not sure. He is still a huge draw for Mexicans, though, so I am sure his PPV would do pretty well.
I don't think so, but not now anyway. If he continues to grow and fight good solid opponents, no doubt he will be a star. He should fight on Mayweather's undercard and that's the problem, some people have too much pride. Mayweather has been at this game for a very long time and it took him forver to get paid, all these new cats want to make mayweather money immediately. Canelo should stick close to Floyd until he can break away just like Oscar and Floyd did to Arum.
Obviously it takes 2 to tango. There are indeed certain opponents that Floyd can fight that probably wouldn't do a million ppv's, but imagine what other fighters would if they fought the same fighter, that's worse even worse. If you look at mayweather's track record, whether you want to give him props or not, acknowledge it or not, he has been in some of the biggest fights period. mayweather does indeed bring a lot to the table, and with the right dancing partner, the numbers are even better. It's common sense. People are alweays trying to find a way to discredit Floyd. That often happens when you are great at what you do!
canelo has to move down to 147 where the eight ounce gloves will give him more power and respect. his cinder block feet and having to set to punch is easy for the other 154s to figure out. and not having one punch power...not a good combination
