Canelito didn't have to agree to this fight or the weight. Alvarez should be fighting at 154 in the first place:yep
He is ripped at 166, I think his team knows what their doing so as not to drain him but I woulda thought Chad's team woulda know what they were doing too, so you never know. Jury's out for me, I go back and forth as to if he's gonna be affected or not.
How much bigger you think he's going to get, seriously? This is already the 3rd weight class he fought in. Only reason he grows will be because he is lazy, and gets fat. He'll be fine, he's a superstar and will have the most advanced team available for him. I don't think people actually realize how hard boxers train.
Yep....he would not risk screwing this fight up due to water retention/ weight.....sweat it out Big Red :smoke
Lmao, are people really trying to say that you can't build up your stamina? No ones born a marathon runner you idiots, you progress slowly over a long period of time, and eventually build up to that level. I know plenty of people in real life, and read about plenty of people in the sports world, who have considerably built up their stamina. A buddy of mine couldn't run more than a block a few months ago, and now he's running half marathons.
As for the thread it won't be a problem. That is about usual for a 30 day weigh in for junior MW's, I believe.
didn't Cotto train for the first time at high altitude against either Mayweather or Trout and Pedro said afterwards it ended up detrimental tohis stamina for a rushed first camp doing it?! Don't shoot the messenger ha
