If Crawford beats Canelo, it's a career defining and legacy win for Bud, and for Canelo losing to the guy that many consider P4P #1 really shouldn't hurt his legacy all that much. I mean knowing this forum they would go mental if Canelo loses, but any reasonable boxing fan knows how highly skilled both guys are and how competitive it would be. Now does Canelo have a power and a weight advantage, sure, but many think Bud has a skill advantage. So by fighting you put these theories to the test. I would of course favor Canelo, but I wouldn't count Bud out given what he just did to Madrimov and I think it would be a highly entertaining fight. Just for the history making potential alone.
He tried, Bivol didn't want none. Bivol is focusing on fighting Beterbiev, after that fight happens a Canelo Bivol rematch is possible, though maybe now that Canelo is no logner Undisputed maybe Bivol doesn't want to come down to 168 no more. It could happen down the line, but Bivol Beterbiev needs to happen first.
He's too small for Canelo. At best he'll look good for a bit like Khan before he runs into a bomb and is sent to the netherworld.
