Can Canelo Surpass Floyd Mayweather Jr?

FMJ is the far superior boxer obviously. Andre Ward would have schooled Canelo.

 

I think he is close to surpassing him now the way he has fought his career. Floyd has some great names on his record, but no one on there when he was prime, which is the problem. They were handpicked after they had losses and were known to have weaknesses. I am not a big Floyd fan/ Head to head he is good, but he just did not fight prime guys to rank too high on the all time list... I don't know where I would place him, but not too high.

 

Sure he can. He's aiming for it by constantly taking risks. The thing is, he could easily make a lot of easy money sticking in one place munching on bums but he still chooses to move up and take risks.
