    With the right promotion it could crack a million. Mexican fans already guarantee it will sell 300k at minimum, probably closer to 4 or 5 for this big fight. Every hardcore fan will tune in, going by Ward-Kovalev numbers that's another 150-200k buys. American casuals who only tune in for "the big fights" will make up the rest as they usually do.

    The whole multiple champion thing doesn't influence casual buys. Casuals know names and they remember highlight knockout reels. They don't know who's champion. Nobody cared who had what belts when Pacquiao or Mayweather fought, or when Cotto and Canelo fought.

    guys had been going back and forth between the two promotions long before lesnar. odds are mcmahon is involved in mma behind the scenes. both promotions are run almost identically.
