I think it's gonna go late. I agree that Parker will win though.
Hand speed, and power. plus Parker has a better jab.
Parker is still a little vulnerable defensively, but I don't really think it's going to show up until he's in with some of the taller HW'S with good right hands like Joshua, Wilder, Fury, or Klitschko.

Might be a night like Bowie Tupou. Takam coming in low pressuring Parker...then getting clocked.

Might be a tough night that goes the distance.

I for one can't wait to see what Parker does...as I rate him highly. I just hope he brings his A game and makes a mark on the top 20 in the division.

Parker will bring his 'A' game

And yes - Takam is aggressive so will likely get clocked.

Parker is much bigger and I think he will have Takam out of there by Rnd 6.

    My thoughts,my words!:D
I also hope that he shows his A game and makes a statement.
Like you I rate him highly and think that he will beat Takam, but he 's got a lot on the plate with the French based African.I guess Parker has to nail his true colours to the mast in this upcomming fight.Truly looking forward to their encounter.

Takam was stopped by Povetkin so clearly he can be stopped and Parker likely does have the power to at the very least grind him down, doesn't mean he will do though.

So far we have seen Parker's opponents intimidated by Parker's speed and power and be forced back. We haven't seen Parker forced onto the back foot and forced to box, where he maybe less effective. Will be interesting to see if Takam can make Parker fight a different fight than usual and if he can, if Parker can succeed fighting out of his usual style.

This for me is a far better fight than Martin/Joshua, I'm really looking forward to Takam/Parker.

Both Tupou and Meehan looked like they started trying that thinking it'd be a good game planand got a little hurt before he seemed like he'd really been cornered for any length of time, then changed to a more defensive mode.

Obviously Takam is quite a different fighter to those two, so it could turn out different - but so far efforts to try that have been aborted before they went too far.

True and it may very well be the case that when he faces Parker, he'll feel his power and go into a more defensive approach and box a bit more like he did early on with Povetkin.

I hope Takam can consistently back Parker up, just to see how Parker copes, he's had things all his own way up to this point. So we'll either see Parker impose himself as per usual but against a top level opponent or we'll see Parker made to show us something different than we haven't seen before.
