can carlos takam take joseph parkers hard punches ?

The question is if Joseph Parker can take Takams punches, I have seen him getting hit far too easily in his previous fights. Takam should be the favourite in this fight.

 

I don't know that Takam is the hardest hitter but the risk is that he could get hit more than he should be with this step up.

There have been a few guys who have hit him clean (who again shouldn't have been able to, but that's another thing) - Jason Bergman got him clean with a very solid punch and Parker reacted to it like "Oh yeah, I better be careful about that" and started pummelling him.

 

Parker is one of the few HW's that I have seen using a great offence as a big part of their defense.

In other words, they hit so hard and fast that it puts the other fighter off getting in range to strike. Takam is smaller - so this could easily happen to Takam too.

I think Takam is solid B class so if Parker knocks him out he's definitely the real deal.

 

I don't know quite what "B-class" means, or where it starts - but either way you sound like you're acknowledging him as a very solid opponent so it can't be a bad thing. I'd put him a solid legit top 10-15 and if Parker beats him then there really shouldn't be any argument that he's the real day, as you say.

I'd go so far as to say he'd be at least as proven as 1 or 2 of the title holders at the time he wins
