Doubtful. I like Chavez though, and I see him carving out his own decent legacy when all is said and done.
I think a better questions is: Will Chavez Jr. be respected for his own career? He is actually a decent fighter. If he was another Mexican coming up he would be respected without as much hype, carving out his own name. I like his style but I would like to see him continue stepping up the opposition.
no chance but to be fair when he turned pro i remember thinking he was completely ****, as in d class fighter, he's improved A LOT since the early days.
even if he had the ability, grit, determination and heart that his father had, he still would never be as great, simply because his resume could never boast as many great fighters as chavez sr's, win lose or draw.
I think you're stupid. I also think JCC jr can and will have his own legacy but it will not even be a fraction of what was his Dad's. I think he called you stupid because he probably knew you personally.
I think Jr. has a fighters heart and if his people stop giving him the bull**** fights, then he will come into his own and maybe approach his fathers status. He's ready to rumble cause I have never heard him turn a fight down, his promoters, but not him personally.
Neither do I but Jr will never be as good even if he retires unbeaten. A better question would be;will Jr ever fight a top-level opponent? Or what would he do if he ever loses the backing of Sulaiman?
Well the answer has to be yesatsch stupid question, of course he can be as great as his dad it's just highly highly unlikely
