i fear for clinton in this fight, Cloud when on his game is a beast, he's stronger, younger so powerful and Woods is slipping

i can see a war with Clinton shifting a lot of punishment ala gonzalez and the corner throwing the towel in

Woods has the experience to win this fight. Cloud this is his most high profile fight. Does he know how to win a world title. Woods I think may get the better of him like Bhop did to Pavlik not too many people thought Bhop would beat Pavlik after the Calzaghe fight. I think Woods will win on points.

Clinton is a veteran who seemed to have a new lease of life against Elvir Muriqi. I think Clinton can use his ring experience to win this fight. I'm going with Clinton on a close points UD.

In no way whatsoever should you compare this to the Hopkins v Pavlik fight. A different comparison may be in order fella.

In any way Woods' tactics will play right into the hands of Cloud. Woods is gonna get stopped - mark my words.

I thought Clinton looked nackerd around the 7th round against Elvir Muriqi. I really got the impression he was digging deep to try and drive Muriqi against the ropes and rattle of a couple of shots. I think if Muriqi if had a bigger punch or more work rate he would have beaten Woods. Even so id love Clinton to beat Cloud but cant see it.

Just prepare yourself lads, if Woods wins the Yanks will immediately declare Cloud one-dimensional and overrated.

i dont know much about cloud but does anyone who does have a bit of knowledge on him think a paralell could be drawn with the woods v rico hoye fight? a young undefeated heavy handed fighter who was expected by many to beat woods? or is cloud the real deal?

I seen clips and he looks explosive and sharp. Raw but he has something about him and he's vicious and when he has you going he goes in and takes you out. Dangerous fight...Hoye wasn't up to much i think Cloud is a level above Hoye.

I was at the Muqiri fight and while Woods won fairly comfortably, i thought he was a bit pedestrian and predictable with the high guard, same combinations and slow footwork. I hope i am wrong but i can't see Woods being able to keep Cloud off in order to win on points and he doesn't have the power for a stoppage. Cloud wide UD but i hope i am wrong as Woods is a sound bloke and a fighter i always want to do well for him personally, not just because he is British.

like mandana said i dont think Hoye is as good as Cloud but, i do see the similarity and Woods might just shock us.

Not sure some of these tasty looking yanks are very comfortable with the stand up no frills technical skills of some of our lads - this could be a prime example.

    C'mon Clinton
