Can Cotto do revenge against Margo like Pac did to Morales?

Cotto is smart and will adjsut.

margo is a beast though.

 

Cotto is small and fragile. If he eats that many body shots and uppercuts again, he once again get stopped.

 

If Cotto has been studying the defence of Bernard Hopkins on video and in the gym ever since that night, and can put that into practice, and has worked hard on his stamina... then maybe.

What let Cotto down that night was defence and stamina. Stamina is easily improved with hard work, defence is not so easy.

Cotto is never going to be able to defend like Pernell Whitaker or Floyd Mayweather Jr, he can't mould himself into a style like either of those.

So many times in the Margarito fight, I was yelling at Cotto to hold or cover properly, but he never did so effectively, his defence was a shambles to be honest. All I could think of was Hopkins's defence. Had B-Hop been fighting a guy like Margo, he wouldn't have absorbed a single head shot the entire night.

Cotto MUST learn these skills or he will lose again.

These two remind me of Chavez Vs Taylor. A rematch would be exactly like Chavez Taylor II turned out. I predict TKO in the 6th for Margo in the rematch. Cotto will never get passed Margo and if a rematch happens I know Cotto will go though some issues after loosing.

Well he didn't fight the smartest fight first time round. He can definitely do better, whether that amounts to winning I dont know.

 

Well he's not koing Margo in a rematch the way Pac did Morales but with the proper training, strategy, and execution Cotto is skilled enough to win a rematch.

 

Pacquiao wasn't KO'd against Morales so Cotto's situation is totally different here. Cotto has a chance of course but if he lacks the stamina then he won't be able to do it, he needs to keep the activity up to be able to beat a fighter like Margarito.

 

It would be nice to see a Cotto win in the rematch and get a trilogy

 

Well, Pacman stopped Morales in their 2nd fight, but I don't see Cotto knocking out Margarito. I think Cotto can definitely beat Margarito 2nd time around by doing a few things differently.
