He lost to Margarito but their is no shame in that. I think he has a good chance and I think he can do it. What do you think?

If he wins a rematch and then a rubber match against Margarito, lures Mayweather out of retirement and defeats him, and then unifies all of the belts, then maybe. :think

He has a chance if he cleans out the division.

He can be the best in the division if he learns to handle hits to the head alot better. I think he can have an early night if he gets a good one and his opponent doesn't let up.

It's possible, but it's very doubtful.

No. Not because of his loss to Margo hindering him in an all time sense, but it just comes down to the fact that he's not good enough to rank above the likes of Ortiz, who was clearly the better overall fighter while having a much more significant resume than Cotto ever could. I don't see Cotto beating 6 HOF'ers, if any aside from an aging Mosley.

Man you need to learn about Ortiz.

You think if Cotto beats Margarito, Williams and Clottey/Berto then he deserves a top 35/40 place on an all-time p4p list? Because that's where Ortiz is around about now.

I still think Cotto is a great fighter, I think he just ran out of steam against Margo, He got some great shots in that night but Margo just seemed like he was on a mission and was going to win if it killed him, Cotto needs to get some confidence back with one maybe two good tune-up fights, he will come back strong IMO

Sorry, yeah he needs to do more to clean out the division to become greater than him. Maybe dominate the weight class since I dont see him going up in weight. I personally think Wilfredo Gomez is the best Puerto Rican fighter ever but that is another topic.
