    he doesnt understand it because he takes any win available to him.

    the irony of living on this forum is that you never know what it means to people who test themselves in real life.

    thats what really pisses him off :)

    im not very aware of him to be honestly other than the alvares fight.... honestly in your opinion did he retire early and could he have accomplish more in the boxing world?

    Bro, the way he fought was so text book man. I think he could have accompished more but I guess he lost motivation to fight. I love his style. :good

    of course he didnt retire early he was 35 or so, and he sholdve steped up against Carbajal and Gonzalez those wouldve been great fights and fights he couldve won.

    I respect that... it's true when you lose motivation you have no business in the boxing world... I was just curious because I heard in other topics he could have face others that could've give him a good challenge... though I would have love to see him beat alvares in a more convincing way...

    Fighters who spend their careers handing out beatings are put to the test when they receive their first beating. We'll have to see what effect this fight has on Cotto's career. He can still go on to accomplish great things and I'll say this...there aren't alot of guys out there who can stand up to the punishment that Cotto dishes out. Margarito's just a beast plain and simple. That's why he was there to finish the job at the end.
