Can Crawford be as slick as Floyd ? Or have better counter punching than Marquez to beat Pac?

At the elite level its difficult to look well especially against Pacquaio . Two fighters that did look good against pac were Floyd and Marquez. . was just too speedy and slick for Manny . and Marquez was just too fast with his countets . manny was caught cleanly with hits from both these fighters. I am a crawford fan he is a fantastic fighter . i can see why he would be the favorite against manny ,however that's what many thought about the thurman fight and manny did better than expected . i just think its hard to emulate a style like pacs in the gym. Can Crawford be aa slick as floyd ? Have better counter punching than marquez to beat pac ??

. edit . Can Pacquaio be just as fast as gamboa was if not faster ?

    Pacquiao is 41

The fact he's still doing what he's doing, considering his style, is remarkable

But it's not going to last forever and I very much doubt he can still beat a Crawford at 41

He's probably somewhere in between the two stylstically, actually. So yeah, he can box and feint while moving but also plant and land hard counters that do damage. That said I'd expect him to struggle a bit with the jump in class and win a competitive fight.

Bud is better at stopping fighters than Marquez and is constantly looking to counter, his one aim in the ring is to destroy Manny has never been in the ring with anything like that before, Bud will throw and land far more power shots than Floyd did, he`s too much for Manny and would have destroyed Thurman easily.

Floyd has to run and use his reach, and grab and hold when Pac got inside. I think that would be Crawford’s best chance but I don’t think he’s as good as Floyd at that game.

JMM has shorter more straighter punches, I also think he’s just like Norton was to Ali. I think Pac was always a class above JMM, JMM just had PACs number. You can see it in their fights against MAB, Bradley and Floyd. And no doubt fights which JMM went to war in like Juan Diaz would have been a walk in the park for Pac.

So Crawford I don’t think Crawford will be as effective in terms of counterpunching, nor will he outbox Pac for 12 rounds.

He wins probably only because Pac gassed out, his outputs declines significantly latter half of the fight.

Question was "can Crawford be as slick as Floyd...". Right off the bat I thought no, prime example, his last fight. What are you having trouble with?

Crawford evades enough and counters enough to slow Pac down by the 6th and steam roller his way to a late stoppage or UD.

Would have been an amazing fight if Pac was still mid 30s.

Crawford is peaking or just below his peak.
Manny is wayyyyyyyyy past his best.

It's just not cool, Thurman was not a spring chicken so the fight made more sense. This is just a mismatch in some aspects so it kind of makes me not even want it. I'd rather Crawford-Porter
