Do you think Crawford could be considered a top 100 ATG by the time he retires? Say he beats Mikey Garcia, Thurman, Spence, and then wins a title at 154. Would that be enough?
top 100 thats a major accomplishment, if he takes all those guys out plus other top guys like shawn porter and danny garcia then that just might do it. but top 100 thats tough to say there soo many boxers but bud has the tools. he can box and fight has speed and power n can fight southpaw or othordox hes the total package.
Sure. He's special. I have guys like Jung Koo Chang and James Toney in there, he can get in on that level.
Doubt it. I see him as the type to lose in the next year or so and then go off the rails with more incidents like that car shop.
Yup Crawford will be the next Broner. I remember when people said AB was the next Floyd, now the same mofos on the Crawford train https://m.youtube.com/verify_age?ne...&v=_S2sb3TEyas&client=mv-google&layout=mobile This content is protected
Yes definitely. And I think he will do all of that apart from maybe winning at 154. I see him staying at 147 until he is past-prime, then possibly moving up to 154 when he's struggling to make the weight at old age. Even if he doesn't win at 154, he can stay in 147, beat all those guys, get 5 or 6 good defenses afterwards, and he's safely in the top 100, pushing towards top 50, but I think he may fall short. It honestly depends on how well he does against Spence, Thurman, Garcia etc...If he blows them away and boxes their heads off, then sure you'd have to put him top 75, maybe even top 50 minimum. If it's close but he wins, then maybe you'd put him just in the top 100. He's captured all the belts at 140, that's an achievement, a big one, whether it's against garbage opponents or not.
You can be sure to see more thuggery from this scoundrel in future. I think if he loses to Horn he will get busted for either DUI, holding someone at gun point or beating a woman who looked at him the wrong way.
Oh absolutely he will. You can just see the sleazy POS in that guy trying to show its face in some interviews out there. Kinda like in the beginning of Jon Jones career and even Broners. I don’t buy his act just like I never bought those other idiots act.
According to the "Classic" section of this site, these are the fighters rounding out the top 100. 97 - James Toney 98 - Nicolino Locche 99 - Jung Koo Chang 100-George Foreman What did they accomplish? Big George beat Frazier x2, Norton, Lyle, and Moorer. Plus, he won a title at age 44. Jung Koo Chang beat Hilario Zapata, Sot Chitalada, and had fifteen successful defences of his title. Nicolino Locche beat Antonio Cervantes, Joe Brown, Eddie Perkins, drew with Carlos Ortiz and Ismael Laguna plus had five defenses of his title. James Toney fought in five weight classes moving up roughly 33% of his original weight. He beat Nunn, McCallum, Barkley, Williams, Jirov, Holyfield, and Ruiz. Crawford would have to do better than one of them to break into the top 100. He's already moved up 10% but I don't see him fighting at super middleweight and beating Toney that way. His resume's a little thin for opponents so I don't see him dislodging George, Toney, or Locche that way. But he's already got 9 title defenses. If he gets six more he only needs to beat three elite fighters at welterweight and he could surpass Chang. If he beats I don't know Thurman, Spence, and someone else say then does a couple of mandatories, then he'd crack the top 100.
i think the way he beats the fighters that could elevate him would make all the difference. he is still an unknown quantity at welter for me, but if he were to outclass the best of what surrounds him at welter, i would be hardpressed to make a list of 100 fighters that could outclass a spence level talent after moving up from a division they unified.
That guy is talking absolute garbage, Crawford gets beat by the likes of Provodnikov and Matthysse? That the same Matthysse that got crushed by Postol? Crawfords levels above those dudes. Crawford is nothing like mental midget Broner. His mental strength and attitude are some of his best assets. Inside or outside the ring, I don't understand that comparison at all.
There's idiots on this forum declaring that Loma will go down as the GOAT, and those some dimwits are saying it's impossible that Crawford finishes top 100? LOL. IF Crawford unified 147, and beat Spence in that unification... he's reached greatness status by that point. Loma's path to greatness will be harder, because aside from Mikey, who can he fight?
