What suggests he can? He has fought cruisers who are 6'4 and 6'5. In terms of the dimensions he can certainly handle it. How about 6'4+ heavyweights. This video of him sparring and preparing for Bonin might provide SOME insight.

isn't it? won't let me put em in a line.

You also need to copy the embed bit into the tags, which is under the url, next to the vid.

Im a fan again, I like the bit on that video when he advertises for ringcard girls , hate to think how many birds Haye goes through. Is he single?

Although he was relatively untroubled against Barret, there were times when I thought Haye looked a little bit outmuscled in the clinches. Surely that will be more of a factor in a fight against Vitali, who is bigger and stronger than Barret?

I think to win the fight Haye has to jab, move and use his speed against Vitali but the counter to that from VK is to wear Haye down with superior strength to eventually catch him. I think it'd take a display as good as Leonard against Hagler for Haye to win this fight - sadly I just dont' think he can do it, he is talented but I think Vitali will take his punches, wear him down with strength and stop him on a TKO in the mid-late rounds.

I really hope I'm wrong though.

Barrett was kinda clumsy in there, I think he was trying to make a point but it wasn't outmuscling Haye so much as basically running full tilt into him when his punches missed and trying to shoulder barge him. At one point it looked like Haye was going to be pushed right through the ropes.

Stuff like that can get you point deductions if you're not careful. You can get away with a bit, but not too much.

I love the picture of Toney in your avatar. It looks like someone has just told him that the delivery boy is caught in traffic and his KFC family bucket is going to be about 15 minutes late.

Plus, with an opponent that much bigger than you, you've got an excuse for 'accidently' Golota-ing them in the nads a couple times to wear them down.
