He could easily beat Chagaev or Wilder right now .. but both of them wont have titels at the end of the year...

The question is WHEN can he fight WHOM?

he has to be slowing down I would think ?

he has the fastest heavy weight hands but has just fought so few heavy weight fights,

I tend to not include him in the mix anymore just because he has been so inactive

I would say NO if I had to guess, I cant see him beating Vlad in the next few years and beyond that I see both him and Vlad too old to keep competing with the best

its a shame in a way because I think Haye could of done a lot at Heavy, he has that explosive ability that is hard to defend against more than most fighters have it

Big question mark over Haye at the moment. We don't even know if he is able to fight, his shoulder may have ended his career and he is simply in denial. He hasn't fought in almost 3 years, so even if he returns with no ill effects from his injury, there's no guarantee he will be the same having been inactive for so long.

I would actually be surprised to see Haye even fight again, let alone win a title. He was pretty inactive and only fighting for money before the injury, now with so many obstacles in his way, he may lack the hunger to get back where he was, even if he is physically able to.

Yes, as long as he's not fighting Wlad or Fury. Wilder would be a walk in the park for Haye.

If he fought someone like Cunningham or Price, we could have an idea.

poor David, the talent and athleticism is there, but the health and champion's mentality isn't

yeah its annoying when talent is wasted.

not saying its wrong to not pursue it, nothing wrong with being an Atticus Finch with the rifle. But if you are going to brag about it then you ought to follow it up.

I remember ending up at a Central London strip club around 3-4 years ago and getting a private dance from a stripper names 'Roxy', whose real name was in fact Svetlana. Somehow she started to tell me about this famous boxer who is there just about every day. I asked her if it was a black guy names David and it was indeed. This was actually during a period that he was supposed to be recovering from injuries.

Clearly shows his dedication levels were just not there once he made some decent money in the heavy division. The chances of him even winning another high profile fight are basically zero

Your story is not 100% correct. Haye got private dances from male strippers, not females.

What is with this Haye nuthugging? The guy is done. He does not want to be a fighter, just a Z-grade attention *****.

I respect him as a two division champ, but his career is over and he ought to just go away.
