He is the best super heavy for sure. Very technical and athletic. Excellent footwork.

I expect he'll dominate over the next few years.

What will he have to do to get his shot though? If he doesn't start out with the right promoter, he might have to wait for a long time like hrgovic had to...

I don't really get why promoters like eddie hearn don't compete heavily for those guys. I see that you can't promote them as easily to the british/american public. But surely having a super successful fighter who probably demands less then your mouthy native english speakers is a good thing?

They should pay for his english lessons and try to build his profile. The klitschkos didn't do too badly in germany.

Maybe he is good enough so the promoters care. Usyk was pretty lucky the cruiser tournament happened. I think that was kalle sauerland's doing and quite extraordinary

Its not just about the promoter, the fighter needs to actually challenge himself and take risks.

Jalolov for example is terrified of fighting half decent fighters.

@MarkusFlorez99 I thought you'd be jumping for joy, happy with Surov's recent success considering you've been championing him for a while..

Yet not one word wrote positively about him since he won Gold. Hmm...

Surov is an immense talent, but the amateurs and pros are two different games. Jalolov looked like a monster as an amateur and is incredibly underwhelming as a pro.
