    Might have been a great move from the klitschkos to go to germany then, who had some promotion capabilities at the time but little potential from their own boxers. The klitschkos could thrive with that. Felix sturm was an albanian 'sold' as a german. Sadly it didn't work for golovkin, he had to stay in the shadow of sturm until he moved on from germany.

    Nowadays ee fighters could hope for the sheik. But i mostly see him making fights between already big names

    Why make yourself look clueless with misinformation, when you could have googled it in seconds.

    Felix Sturm is of BOSNIAN descent, but was born in Germany , and raised and lived in Germany his whole life, and represented Germany his entire amateur and pro career, he is very much German.

    Of course signing the likes of the Klitschko's and GGG helped the German boxing scene, but they didn't have 'little potential from their own boxers', as there was plenty of top German boxers at that time.
