It was a bad defeat against Keeton, although he did look good against Simpson.

    How would he get back?

    • Build up at 175 again
    • Get a Keeton rematch and build from there at 200
    • Retire

I said as soon as he made the move to Cruiser that that was the end of his career. He's too small to fight at the weight and the fact he won't make 175 speaks volumns about his dedication/ motivation.

He is only in the sport for the money, which is a shame because he has talent.

Francis has been done for a long time now. Since that injury he's been fighting with one arm. A jab and a left hook. Very rarely does he throw a right hand and when he does its powder puff.

he should retire. he hasnt been the same since the injury.

It is worth noting that he beat the winner of prizefighter Ovil McEnzie by 1st round TKO in 2007 for the commonwealth title.

Its a shame but no, he had talent its true but so do many british fighters. Its a cycle, the fighters we are building up right now, at least one or two, if not more, will do the same!

After winning his opening fight on Prizefighter, somebody on here (can't remember who due to herbal intake) predicted Francis would get knocked out.

I know Keeton had a decent dig on him, but Francis looked really fragile to me.

yeah francis did look fragile. even his fight with vegas he looked not up to the task. vegas was almost annoyed that he didnt start sooner and beat the guy up.

he did well agaisnt oakey, but that was somthing to do with class and ability to use your back foot.

175 at cruiser he is so sluggish and bulky, size wouldnt matter if he was a slickster or a puncher but now he is barely neither

He needs to retire. When your getting sparked by an inactive Buster Keeton its time to do boxercise classes.

hardly any of them were in his class but he still got stopped of a journeyman in keeton, his head aint in it anymore,he should give up before he gets hurt,
they were not hard shots what stopped him, just cufffs,to me thats a sign of wear and tear

Francis would have been a decent test for Calzaghe at his best.
