He has a better KO record than boxing legends Ali, Foreman and Mike Tyson!

It's a little early to make an informed opinion on this.

Its too early, but obviously he CAN. Whether he WILL is another thing. I think of him, Fury and AJ at least one will be there. How they fare against each other will decide it.

He is a many year world champion no matter how pathetic his competition has been and he is American which definately doesnt hurt and he has an olympic medal so I'd say he is already 99.5% sure.

Isn't every long serving heavyweight champion in the hall of fame ?

Going by that Wilder would be already in the hall of fame, especially with an additional olympic bronze medal.

If he's not in the hall of fame yet he will be at the end of his career, imo he has at least 5 good years left.

You don't need to be an ATG to be in the hall of fame, i think there is a misconception among some boxing fans.

According to the current abysmally low standards of the Boxing Hall of Fame now, perhaps - but this doesn't mean that is SHOULD be so. Halls of Fame should be reserved for the best of the best.

But even with the absurdly low bar to get into the Boxing HoF, Wilder does not make the cut. And after he's obliterated in a round or two by Joshua, and then becomes cannon fodder for up and comers -- it will STILL be the case that the only way he's getting in is to buy a ticket like the rest of us!!

He will have to beat both of Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury to do so

Yes that time DW rose from the canvas like a Phoenix after getting dropped by a bazooka check jab

Joshua could knock him out in a round or two, i give you that, i'm also expecting a knockout by Joshua but that doesn't change the fact that the "Right Hand Bandwagon" is waiting for you, you only need to hop in.

Love him or hate him you can't deny that getting up off the canvas twice and surviving the round to go on and win just show his champions calibre and should automatically go into the HOF..

Nichols and Sconiers probably should go in there too for partially cracking one of the toughest mandibles in boxing..

Who has he beat? Right now the best fighter he has defeated is Luis Ortiz KO10. It was a good fight, Ortiz hurt Wilder but Wilder was able to come back and stop Ortiz. He beat Bermane Stiverne W12 and KO1. Not much else worth mentioning on his resume.

40-0 (39) overall and 8-0 (7) in WBC HW World title fights. He has never defeated a Lineal HW World Champ, he has never defeated anyone who seems like a future Hall of Famer... Ortiz is a solid fighter though.

    Ali, Foreman, and Tyson...

They defeated Lineal HW World Champs-

Patterson, Liston, Frazier, L. Spinks, Holmes, M. Spinks, and Moorer.

    They also defeated-

Terrell, Ellis, Norton, Quarry, Bonavena, Chuvalo, Bugner, Lyle, Shavers, Young, Berbick, Smith, Thomas, Tucker, Tubbs, Bruno, Ruddock, and others.
