Can you see him at this stage getting any wins over any of the top 10 Heavies?

I don't think so. Its frustrating watching him refuse to throw punches.

I gave up on him years ago.

    I don't see it.

I mean, he could since the heavyweights are so weak. But, the dude has no fire. It is painful waiting for him to throw punches.

The physical tools were there but he just does not throw punches.

No. He seems to have no heart whatsoever.

I don't even see him beating a top 20 heavyweight, let alone top 10. He lost to Robert Hawkins of all journeyman. He has all of the tools to make some noise, but something upstairs is just not clicking and he is not consistent, on top of being a smallish heavyweight.

I don't think so. He lives here in Houston and I see him out at the nightclubs all the time. He looks to be doing more partying than training

For some reason I just watched Dokiwari/Guinn the other night. He was 218 for that fight and looked fairly sharp with lots of activity and a good, solid left hook.

Well, we know what happened after that, the descent into journeyman status.

I think Guinn got himself into very good shape for the Eddie Chambers fight and came to win. He was good for a few rounds then was outboxed and outworked.

Then a loss to the average Robert Hawkins.

The current version of Guinn scored a nice knockout of Bergeron, but at 33 is probably not in a position to turn that into a fight of substance. What reason would someone in the top 10 have for fighting him now?

I do think he could still give a good effort and knock off 10-20 ranked guys like Minto, Kevin Johnson, etc, but nothing beyond that.

Guinn has some tools, some physical ability, but was never going to be the world beater that he was hyped to be.
