Can Edison Miranda beat any of the Super 6 fighters?

    I think Edison Miranda is a fighter that people have prematurely written off due to his losses against quite exceptional fighters, all three of them. Miranda has bounced back with a first round KO in his last fight and now has a WBO shot lined up against Robert Stieglitz, which many think Miranda will win. Assuming he wins this fight, is Miranda capable of beating any of the Super 6 fighters? We can cross off Abraham and Ward right off the top. I think he'd beat Taylor, and make it very interesting against the other three. Am I alone in this?

    No. Miranada is not and never was very good to begin with. Take away his right hand and you've got nothing but a punching bag.

    I think he always had a puncher's chance at getting a strap and still might for a few years. But he's never going to be a great fighter. He's never going to be all that good of a fighter. He's been hurt a lot already and the likelihood of him even getting a strap gets less and less after each loss. He's taken a lot of damage. I don't like his chances. My opinion.

    Al Bernstein mentioned that Jermain Taylor will need to make a decision as to whether or not to continue fighting, as if he hasn't already. Miranda almost seems more deserving as a replacement than Allan Green, except that Miranda has already been handily beaten by two of the fighters in the tournament.

    I'll pick him over Froch and MAYBE Taylor, all the rest smash his face in and trash him.

    That's pretty similar to what I was thinking. Except I'd pick him over Taylor and MAYBE Froch.

    i voted No but maybe it should have been Yes... He is capable but it is just very unlikely, maybe Taylor would be his best shot. Dont know about Dirrell, not seen too much of him.

    They all beat him at this stage, most by KO. Miranda is damaged goods unfortunately, i even think Taylor has enough left to beat him.

    He's capable, with his power, but I think it would only be a puncher's chance or slightly better against any of the 6. I think his chances would be best against Froch, because he likes to mix it up and is hittable.

    I think before Pavlic took him out that he would've been game against any of them and maybe pulled out some wins...Now, NO way...Not even a punchers chance...He's lost that edge...
