Of anyone I think Saiko Bika deserves the opportunity.

This scenario would kick ass. I would also love to see him match up against any of the four Super Six fighters he hasn't yet faced. Even a rematch with Green. Miranda adds a very entertaining element and chemistry to an already deep and entertaining weight class. I think he has better boxing skills than most give him credit for and, while not the most well rounded fighter, is still not so one dimensional like people say. I saw Miranda land better punches on Ward than Kessler did. Goossen can only have a positive impact as well.

He's the top SM guy available not in the six (minus Bute), only lost to Bute and Cal and makes for good tv.

What has Miranda done to be in, already lost to Ward, ko'd by Abraham, ko'd by Pavlik....

I want Bute to be in the tournament, but they won't allow him to fight in it.

Would he need his hometown ref, crowd, commentators to tell you who is winning, etc.?

Only Ward gets that advantage. Check it out, Ward refused to fight in the tournament unless he got his home town, all the fights that is. Ward does not want Bute to fight in the tournament. Bute is far above them all.

    Why won't Bute leave Montreal?

Oh, excuse me, his last fight was in Quebec City. My mistake.

Too much damn money to be made, that's why. He sells out arenas. He is still not known well in the USA, so a fight outside of Canada would not sell nearly as well. And of course a little hometown cookin by the ref is a bonus! :hey

I didnt say Miranda should walk in. He should fight it out with Bika and winner goes. Both would make for better fight than Allan Green.

Now if Miranda beats Stieglitz he will have a little something extra that might give him enough for Showtime to want him in. They would love at the end of this for the winner to have 3 of the 4 belts!
