I have seen the crowds in Montreal first hand. They pay top dollar to go to the fights and are some of he best fans in the entire world. You have no idea what that gate brings to the pot. No reason for him to leave all that cash on the table.

 

Maybe the Kessler who lost to Ward. Or maybe the Taylor post Abraham. Or possibly Froch. Though I really doubt it to me it would take an off nite for the 6 and a great one for Miranda.

 

Bute is by far the most deserving to be in the tournament and should have been there in the first place instead of JT. However.... HBO holds the reins and will ride Bute far away from the Showtime stables. No chance we will see Bute fight any of these guys until its said and done.

 

I hope the prep for the fight is going well. Still waiting for Taylor to come to his senses though. Hope he didn't lose them all in the ring.....

Yes, I am hearing Miranda is having a great camp with some top sparring. It's no longer Edison Miranda running the show. He finally has a captain that doesnt take any ****. Keeping my fingers crossed this is gonna make the difference.

Nah. He had some new sweats so I think that save my nose since they hadn't been 'gym ripened' yet. I know they were new because the pants were too long and he was hitting the bottoms while jumping rope.

 

Im just giving you a hard time. I was reading your threads about his hands and watching him spar. Kinda got the impression you felt like a 12 year old at a Jonas Brothers concert!

 

Nope. Has we have seen against Ward, he relies too much on the power of his right hand, making it easy for a good boxer to outbox him.

Come to think of that, maybe Froch if they go to war but against Abraham, Miranda went to the canvas so maybe not after all...:think

 

I wouldn't pick him over anyone in the super 6, even Taylor, though I'd be happy to watch Froch vs. Miranda while it lasted.

 

At the end of the day, money is what will make or break a fight. That'a all. Don't try to find a excuse to say Bute is scare of leaving his hometown, cause he's not. When the money is bigger outside, he'll come gladly. And I personnaly think his next fight will be in the USA, maybe against Allan Green, if this time, he doesn't run from a real challenge...

 

But the Canadian $ is so weak you would only need a third of the people in the uk.

 

Not really. I used to be a stage hand and would work with some 'really' famous people. I was just killing some time and used it as a way to force myself out of the house. I was getting too close to 'vegetable' stage. Meridith Baxter-Birney was much better looking in person than on the TV screen. Now I see she's gone 'lesbian'. Sigh.....
