Abraham already beat him too times an would beat him a third time too.

Kessler would outbox him an Ko him late.

Ward already outboxed him and would do it again

Froch would would go toe to toe a knock him out Froch is the tougher and harder guy

he has a small chance to ko Taylor and Dirrell

btw Bute would be his kryptonite.

Miranda don't have a chance to beat anyone of those six fighters in the tournament. Taylor is likely a done fighter but i could see him tko Miranda cause Miranda chin is the same as Taylor but Taylor is quicker in which would be Taylor's advantage. I hate Froch with a passion but his better chin and a true 168 pound would give him the edge over Miranda. Dirrell, Ward would just embarrass Miranda like there's no tommorow (Ward already did it). Abraham would just destroy Miranda just like in their rematch. I hope Miranda is the replacement for Taylor so when Ward easily embarrass Miranda again, it will proved that not even Goosen can help him.

This could be an interesting match up, but I'd rather see Jermain retire. He doesn't need any more KO's in his life when he is on the receiving end. Jermain fought not to be KO'd against AA and couldn't manage it. His confidence has to be at a very low level. Maybe Goosen has instilled some confidence in Pantera? I thought going into the second AA fight patience was his Achilles heel. I think I was right in that fight and in the Ward fight when he reverted to trying to land the home run punch every time and abandoned boxing all together. We didn't get to see enough in his one Goosen coached fight to get any clues on that front, but Goosen must have seen something to want him....

I'd have to agree with that assessment.

I think a lot of people on this thread are seriously over rating the tourney fighters and under rating Miranda.

Under rating Miranda? Miranda got his ass beat up by Ward. Put it this way Miranda has never won a big fight in his career unless you want to count his win over unproven Green. Please don't mention Miranda vs Abraham 1 cause that fight was at middlweight. Abraham is clearly a better fighter at the supermiddleweight division.

I got this question, why are many here wants Miranda to replace Taylor in the tournament? What has Miranda done? And most here don't get it if Miranda replace Taylor, don't any one of you knows that Miranda will have to fight Ward again? The same Ward already beat the **** out of him? Come on people think.

So I'm not allowed to mention the fact that Miranda gave the tournaments points leader the hardest fight of his career? Shut the **** up with that drag.

The poll question was: "Can Edison Miranda beat any of the Super 6 fighters?"

In other words, could Miranda, on a given night, land a game changing right hand on one of these guys. Anyone who says "no" to that is just acting like a ******.

Do you realize that lets say Miranda replace Taylor, do you know Who Miranda have to face next? :rofl The only person Miranda has a shot to beat is shot in the dark Taylor but thats about it. But since Lou won't allow Taylor to be in this tournament anymore, i don't see Miranda beating any of the 4 super six fighters in this tournament. And this is me a guy that hate Froch but i think Froch would tko Miranda. I read you saying Miranda has a shot vs Kessler? Why cause the way Ward beat Kessler? Ward headbutt his way many times in that fight to beat Kessler but style makes fights and i could see Kessler easily beat Miranda just like the way Kessler easily beat Andrade.

In my opinion Kessler/Ward was more a case of Kessler looking bad than a case of Ward proving something. Kessler looked like 42 fights, age, injuries, and relative inactivity caught up with him. If he stops Froch, I might have to make a new decison about where Kessler stands right now.

I still think you're under rating Miranda. He could never make the finals, but he could grab a win or two somewhere along the way. These guys aren't all that great. Personally I thought all three of the first rounds fights made that pretty clear.

Miranda was beat by three top fighters.
    He is under rated now.
After he beats Stieglitz and picks up the WBO people will start giving him some respect. Stieglitz in no huge win, but when you hold a belt people start giving you a little respect. After that he will be tested again against Bute I would imagine. Let's not forget Miranda has beaten convincingly everyone he has fought minus three of the top of their weight class. Eastman and Green were decent wins. Stieglitz would be another. Maybe he isnt a top 5, but he sure is close.
