I dont buy into the punchers chance

The only time I will give a fighter a "puncher chance" is if

1-They legitimately possess proven 1-Punch KO power.

2-They are skilled enough that they, even when being beaten, are still capable of landing the 1-shot KO.

Miranda is neither of those things.

1-He has never knocked out any real elite level or B-level contender with a single shot. All of his KOs have been journeyman

2-Against top comp his power has not looked as impressive, and he doesnt know how to time an opponent, find an opening, or set traps

To give you an idea of fighter that always does have a punchers chance, I would say Randall Bailey

1-He has knocked out top opponents even when being outboxed and outworked and behind on points

2-Even against more skilled fighters, he knows how to time his opponent to land a the Hammer right hand. For example, Urango he timed perfectly. He was just ****ed because Urango has a head like a bull and is impossible to KO

Style makes fight booradley and Miranda style easily favors Kessler. Did you watch Kessler vs Andrade? Andrade is as 1 dimensional as Miranda is but Andrade has the better chin. Ward beat Kessler cause of his slick skills with dirty tactics like using the head as a weapon.

Yes indeed it is a tough crowd. Maybe respect is not the word I was looking for... Maybe hope. Yea, that might work better. Beating Stieglitz may give hope that Miranda could keep stepping it up and have a chance at one of the Super Six, or Bute. Until he gets that win, many give Pantera little to no chance.

True and when has Miranda ever came from behind. He also does not have the chin, stamina, or defensive fundamentals to survive long enough to land the shot. Never KO'd a top guy with one shot. Also on a side note I thought the Urango Bailey fight was fight of the year material. I thought Bailey had him he bareley got up his legs were wobbly at the end of the round round

Jermaine Taylor is a question mark now. So who knows if Miranda could beat him.

The exact same version of Eastman that went 12 with Abraham got stopped in 7 by Miranda. Abraham is the current points leader in the sauerland six, and Miranda gave him the toughest fight of his career. But hey, this is ESB, and certain posters aren't going to let facts get in the way of their hate. Facts just **** them off.

I'm interested in seeing the results of his next fight with the supposed overhaul of his training and tactics. If he has adapted at all into any kind of a boxer, he could well be very dangerous. Big IF.

Miranda's biggest problems are mental/emotional. If he cracks a guy, and the guy stays on his feet, Miranda falls apart. It will certainly be interesting to if Goosen has done him any good.

I heard Yusaf Mack was sparring with Pantera the other day and the word out of camp is Mack left with a bleeding nose and is not coming back. Mack is fighting Glen Johnson next so I can see why he wanted sparring with Miranda, but I dont think Mack is the kind of guy that Miranda needs to get ready for Stieglitz.

I just watched a little of Mack against Andrade..... Yeah. I don't remember much of Stieglitz but kinda remember him as solid with no outstanding traits in the fight he won his belt in.

Miranda biggest problem is he got a weak chin and is too 1 dimensional.
