Can fighters today (modern heavies ) compete back in John L's day

    Guys like wilder or joshua . would they make it in bareknuckle boxing going over 20 rounds.kind of like how Sullivan and Kilrain went 75 rounds.
    Fighting in those type of fights back then . no canvas , hot humid weather, dirt , exhausted while getting hit in the head repeatedly and also were gassed out.

    Who knows? Most likely they probably wouldn't have been let in the ring with Sullivan to begin with.
