Margarito is a plodding fighter that can only fight in straight lines, thus Mosley was able to just pick him off. Against a guy like Floyd Mosley would have to use more leg moment, and have to shorten his punches instead of throwing numerous bombs.

Sorry I never said Mayorga was better then Margo. Mayorga is an unothordox fighter that throws crazy punches from crazy angles. He can give anyone trouble. Mosley struggled because he couldnt time Mayorga. Meanwhile Margarito was not hard to find, not hard to time. Hell Clottey was pounding on Margarito before he hurt his hand.

DLH fades during his fights. Thats why he could never win the big one. However many feel he beat Mosley the second time.

Mosley looked great against Margarito. Fast, explosive, ect ect. But anyone that follows boxing knew that Mosley would give Margarito hell. Iron chinned, fast, strong, the perfect counter balance to the type of fighter Margarito type 1 dimensional goons feast on. Smaller lighter punching fighters, like cotto.

The cotto fight, Mosley struggled, was walking into shots all night. Why? Cotto gave him angles and popped his jab. Mosley tired, Cotto won. Simple as. Same thing would happen against Mayweahter.
