It's unlikely but you can't say Mayweather WON'T stop Mosely. Not many people would of thought Mosely could stop Margarito but it happened

No one has ever "tagged Floyd often". Not sure what fight you were watching but he BARELY hit Floyd. Even without the low punch stats, just by view the fight. Marquez had trouble just landing a punch, let alone tagging Floyd often.

for some strange reason I think shane will make floyd run after him. he will play it by round. Come up with combinations/bursts to win rounds. he will fight in spurts forcing mayweather to fight offensively. MOSELY WILL WIN! IN A BORING STUPID FIGHT!

The mere fact that he was hit cleanly by Marquez (second round right before the knock down) has people in question. Not that he has not been hit before, but given he has not fought in so long, people did not remember him being hit by everyone he has ever faced. Even that punch, he took it while turning. Did not land flush. It was clean but not a stand still shot. Either way, I am sure this will be an awesome fight. Shane BETTER hit him a few times to have people interested in a rematch or at least not dubbing Shane "Shot".

What ever happens in the fight nobody can call Shane shot , while your right nobody has landed much on Floyd in any of his fights its a common misperception that Floyd never gets hit , and he does !!!!!!

Castillo , Judah , Hatton , De La Hoya and Marquez all landed something on Floyd , and at times had him off his game , well Mosley is better than all of them fighters thats the point im saying , before you say it i know Floyd beat all of the above but they did have a little success certainly JLC & Oscar !!!!!

Floyd will have to fight differently against Shane, but Floyd's ability to adjust is one of his main advantages. Shane might have some success early depending on how he comes out. The jab will be important in this one.

:pYES and when they do it'll come down to who can keep their composure and that's where Floyd i believe will excel.

10 yrs ago I would've picked Mosley, but now he is just to old, unless Floyd gets into a dog fight he should have no problem outboxing mosley.

There is also a misperception that Floyd won't be able to take Shane's punch Floyd as an above par chin almost iron if you ask me but i'm just a fan what do i know.

Well, Mayweather will fight unusually aggressive here. First, he will stun Mosley with snake style poison hands, then he will finish him with a series of scorpion kicks. Shao Khan will be ultimately proud of him!

No wait ... maybe, he will just POTSHOT Shane to death like he did with a walking corpse of Oscar de la Hoya, going for a safe decision without ever risking anything, let alone a combination, or a powerpunch ?

Only time will tell ...

I think Mosley will be more effective than what JMM was but I don't think that he will do as good a job as Oscar simply because in his fight with Margarito he did a ton of lunging shots. Guess what happened to the last guy that tried that crap against Mayweather? He ended up going head first into a ring post off a check hook.
