Easy UD for Floyd imo he's too clever and he's the fighter who can make the adjustments in this fight

He didn't have an "easy" UD against Hoya, and that man was far away from his prime. All he did is potshot him and defend to make it ugly. And Hoya won even a respectable number of rounds, just faded too much.

All depends on how sharp or shot Mosley will be. Mayweather doesn't get old that soon, he will be his usual self. A tired, worn Mosley who is too slow will not hear the last bell. A sharp, "Hopkins" Mosley may make it close or even get a W if he fights really clever, but that would take a masterful performance. The most crucial for Mosley will be to not give away easy rounds, working in vain for nuts because he doesn't connect on headhunting, and get the round stolen from a short combination in the last 20 seconds that hits him flush. That is the fools way of losing, which we have seen too often in the last couple of years. Smartness seems to be out of fashion for many fighters.

I believe so. Take a look at the Cotto/Mosley fight. Cotto was beating Mosley to the punch all throughout their fight and Cotto has nowhere near the speed of Mosley - even when Cotto was "on his bike" (like some people believe) in the last couple rounds, he was still catching Mosley.

Mosley has tendencies of struggling with pure boxers and Mayweather is pretty much a wizard inside that ring and well, Mosley's age does not help I would think. I see Mayweather counterpunching and jabbing Mosley all night - however, Mosley has Brother Nazim in his corner and will Mayweather be able to take Mosley's shots?

Shane will be frustrated in this matchup. He doesn't have the legs, jab or boxing IQ to stay with PBF.

Shane has never shown the ability to adjust in the ring when faced with real adversity. Shane isn't known for his ring IQ and is not a thinking man's fighter that's the truth.:deal

Shane's team knows Floyd will be back pedaling and pot shotting the whole night with a lot of possibly, no not possibly, but surely plenty of clinging, yes I think they know exactly what to do. It does not take higher IQ to figure that out. :deal

Well he KOed Hatton, won a easy decision over JMM and barley won a decision over DLH. Thats basically aside from a cut your only ways of winning.

If the floyd who shows up to fight Mosley is anything like the floyd who beat marquez, I can't bet on mosley. That version of floyd was just too good.

I will pray his hand breaks though.

While Floyd should be the favourite against this version of Shane, the Floyd-JMM fight offers little of predictive use in looking at a Shane-Floyd fight.

Much of what Floyd could do against JMM was based on his huge size advantage, and to a lesser degree, his speed advantage.

Mosley has a LOT more powere and more speed than JMM, and can make Floyd fight a much more defensive fight.

Hatton is miles below Mosley in terms of ability and skill.

Forget Hatton for the purposes of this conversation, ODLH and Mosley are more similar and in this other league. ODLH had one truly effective shot against Mayweather and that was his jab. He abandoned it around the end of the first half of the fight in large part. Mosley is bigger and stronger than Floyd, just like Oscar. Except:

    A. Mosley will be in Floyd's natural weight class, unlike Oscar was

    B. Floyd already has experience over an elite guy that competes at 154 who is bigger and stronger than himself in ODLH and therefore Mosley may face a less cautious version of Mayweather (but I doubt it) and most importantly:

    C. Mosley does not in any way shape or form have the jab that ODLH has. ODLH even well past his best prior to the Pacquiao fight had a superb jab. Mosley's is good when he wants to use it properly but usually it's his poorest tool because he treats it that way most of the time.

Conclusion: I think Floyd will decision him with his superior ring IQ and cool temperament but I'd be tickled shitless if Mosley handed him his first loss.

LOL, and then you woke up...................Shane is a brawler. Fact. If someone boxes him he is out of his comfort zone. Fact. Forrest and Winky boxed him and did not slug it out. Fact. If ODH would have boxed instead of going toe to toe due to some Mexican warrior BS because of the Tito fight he would have most likely won.............Mosley can't deal with a accurrate jab and is a sucker for the straight right, you can't miss him if you tried.....Margarito is a no talent mediocre skilled Middleweight clubfighter who has to boil down in weight because he would be laid out non stop if you would fight where he really belongs. he was tailormade for Mosley and still had to land a million shots to get him out of there.............not because El Bricko has a granite chin but because Mosley is not a true power puncher. never was,...............if you don't believe me show me one world class fighter he has laid out in the first third of a fight.............

This is Mosleys farewell cash out fight, lol, he will try but loose a wide decision .
