On his own without cachet of any sort or the right adversary Floyd has already proven that he can't.

LOL Hatton and Oscar was the reason that his PVP revenue is high. He is not that big of a draw compared to Oscar.

He sold well against both Baldomir and Judah. Sold more then anything Pac has ever done against Morales or Marquez. Also sold more then Tito, Pac, Shane, ect against De La Hoya. And Hatton vs Mayweather did better then Pac vs Hatton.

Just another example of Floyds resume speaking for itself.

These threads are really getting to be pretty stupid....Can Floyd sell without having a big name opponent??? Well lets see who the **** can that isnt named Tyson or Delahoya??? Margo did 19,000 buys in his stand alone ppv..what did the Cotto/Pavlik twin bill do for numbers with crappy guys???

What a dumb thread, sad thing is people are actaully voting on it:rofl

You cant do nothing with these dumbass muther****ers. They are really ******ed.

However its just gonna be that much sweeter when Mayweather dashes their dreams again. Dont forget most of these dudes were Margacheato fans.

Pretty much sums it up. Not to mention that while guys like Oscar and Hatton are big draws they got their biggest paydays against Floyd Oscar vs Floyd did twice as many buys as Oscar vs Tito or Oscar vs Vargas or Oscar vs hopkins. If you honestly think that FLoyd had nothing to do with that then you are a moron. Oscar, Judah, Hatton and Gatti made their career high paydays against Floyd. Despite being popular themselves and having fought guys that were "bigger draws" than Floyd

Depends on what you consider "big".

He did solid PPV numbers, in the 300s, against the likes of Gatti, Judah, and Baldomir.

But obviously not in the DLH/Tyson area.

Every "hero" needs a good villain. Mayweather Jr. plays the part well. After he handles the latest "hope" you guys will say how he was scared and should have fought Manny. After that he was scared and should have fought Shane. After that Cotto beat Mosely and he should have fought Cotto. After that Margarito beat Cotto so... Blah, blah, blah...

These fights draw as much from Mayweather as the headliner. Without him they don't do the numbers.
