Wow, sums it all up perfectly.
You could hear Floyd's fans grunting with pain at this. :!:

Seriously, Floyd is the only person to blame for all the **** he's been taking. He claims he's in it for the money and not the legacy. Then when the BWAA awards the historic FOTD to someone else who really earned it in the ring he and his pop go bonkers on everyone.

While Floyd is responsible for his misfortunes regarding his place in boxing history, you gotta give these Floyd lemmings the brilliancy prize.:nut These guys spout Floyd's "doin it for the money" nonsense then sourgrape at the next turn when BWAA gives their favorite the much-hyped "0".
If you're gonna flaunt "money business nonsense" better make sure you argue consistently, legacy don't pay bills right, so why the hell does a legacy-enhancing award bother you?

The BWAA didn't go by that idea that the decade began in 2001. The award was already given to Pacquiao.

Unless you want to give out your own awards.

How about the years 2011-2019, are we going to disregard them just because Floyd and Pac already fought at 2010?

If Pac wins, then you would have to acknowledge that Pac is a two-time Fighter of the Decade winner (2000-2009 & 2010-2019)!!!

dont get your panty's in a bunch....

im just saying that for me Both have done enough to warrant FOTD........nothing gives a better justification than an Head to Head fight.

That's all...and i have no problem with Pac winning the awrd anyway...but for me.....(who's opinion really means nothing in the grand scheme of things of boxing)....the winer out right is the best of the decade thats all.

And no i dont consent to giving him 2 FOTD because this is MY criteria my personal own...just my opinion its not for the books....Pac would just be FOTD if he won....Floyd would be if he won....its plain and simple to me really.

And im talking about the previous dcade not the one we just embarked on.

He blew his chance years ago, when he "retired". Then a week after Margo lost and got banned from boxing, Floyd came back. You can't be the best unless you fight all the championship-level opponents available. Floyd ducks the guys he thinks can beat him.

margo hadn't fought anyone when he was calling out floyd and margo has buried himself since then.
floyd can still back up his words with pac but margo will be forgotten and rightly so.

No, history will note that when Floyd temporarily took himself out of boxing Margarito badly beat a Cotto fresh from decisioning Mosley, and his chin was the biggest factor not any possible cement wraps. Also, after this Shane Mosley knocked out Margarito.

Titanic battles all and the man who likes to call himself GOAT voluntarily excused himself from all of them. He beat Mosley now, but this should only be the start, not the end-all and be-all of how he should prove his greatness at welterweight.
