I dont think he can, not because he has lost anything as a fighter though.

I think he is fighting at his best right now (not fan pleaseing wise but skill wise).

I honestly think if his hands were not so damaged he would be more offensive, but he is scared to dmamged them mid fight and risk loosing.

Mayweather is going to out muscle, out punch, and bully Victor Ortiz. You heard it here first.

:yep I believe he cares about his health, money, then performance in the ring. If he can give us a super exciting fight while STILL putting those things in order, we'll see one. Like it's been said, part of it depends on the opponent.

:thumbsup This too. It's smart to know your limitations and work around them.

Funny thing is, I think Victor being aggressive is the best thing for both Ortiz and Mayweather. For Ortiz, it's his best chance to win. Aggressive and rough. Hit floyd anywhere and everywhere. For Floyd, Ortiz' aggression might allow him to win in a more entertaining fashion then normal with all the openings he'll get.

No ****ing way Ortiz will out-weigh Floyd by "at-least" ten pounds. Floyd looked bigger when he fought both Mosley and De La Hoya WTF are you talking about? :dead
This is how this fight will go. Floyd will wait for a wide open Ortiz shoots left-straight to the body clinch then position again. He' ll dance like it's a ****ing dancing with the stars contest pot-shot clinch again then repeat until the 12th round. :deal

Floyd will be very defensive the first few rounds as he shakes off the ring rust and finds Ortiz's timing. After that the shots will fly and lights out for Ortiz.

    Negative....

SHANE MOSLEY HITS HARDER THAN VICTOR ORTIZ AND/OR HE IS MORE PROVEN.

You can bring Shanes old age up if you want....

Bad idea though cuz your power is the last thing to go and Shane STILL HAS POWER...

Also it was Floyd's footwork which kept him coming forward which I think he'll do...

HE JUST WONT BANG WITH ORTIZ LIKE HE USED TO BANG WITH A LOT OF THE SMALLER FIGHTERS..

Excellent point. We saw what happened when floyd fought castillo with a torn rotator cuff. He wasn't nearly as offensive. When floyd is healthy, we get more entertaining fights. I think he would have more knockouts if his hands weren't so brittle.

exactly, otherwise there would never be upsets, and this sport would be boring and predictable. BTW, I think that Ortiz will fight at his best which is a perfect style matchup for floyd. I don't think we will see much "drama", as larry merchant would say, because floyd isn't gonna be open for the same kind of mistakes he made with Judah or Mosley. 9 rounds to 3 mayweather.

not underrating ortiz in any way. i just think floyd is too skilled for him. he'll get outboxed for 12 rounds. ortiz could make it interesting in early rounds, but that's it.
