    Serious question.

Right now Floyd is not only in PACs rearview as far as legacy and recognition. Pacs pretty much won all the awards the last 5 years and fighter of the decade. Not to mention that the whole boxing world seemed to have made Floyd the butt of their jokes.

Now lets say Floyd doesn't fight Pac in the next two years (for whatever reason). What can he do and who could he fight and beat that will raise his status equal or surpasses that of Pacquiao??

he could knock pac out and will still not have pacs status

hurricane carter knocked out emille griffith but who's ranked higher?
douglas knocked out tyson but who's ranked higher?

floyd's last 5 years, his PRIME years, will taint what started out as one of the most promising careers of the last 20 years

  4. Pac's about to leave Floyd in the dust again.

I don't think Floyd even cares about that **** well maybe deep deep deep down he does. He still is going be regarded as one of the most talented boxers ever like it or not.

  8. In 10 years, his duckage of Pacquiao will overshadow his ring achievements.

Curry was my favorite fighter back in the day besides McCallum. He actually started better than Floyd and has better pedigree as an amateur but Floyds still better than him by a bit.

  13. Actually, it's already happening RIGHT NOW.

You just compare rubin carter to a fighter who is 16-0 against world champions, with 6 belts in 5 divisions, undefeated, multiple victories over hofers and atleast two ATG's?
