I'll somewhat agree, but the problem with this is, MAnny can probably beat Williams as well (there is a chance). So Floyd really needs another win, frankly something against someone hard for Manny to beat.

He was so scared of Castillo he fought him twice. Right. :rofl

sharamba mitchell was to test the waters at welterweight btw. Then he just so happened to face 3 P4P number 1 fighters, and 3 welterweight champions, 2 former or current undisputed. Right. :rofl

A past it Oscar that Floyd fought, who wasnt weight drained, was at his best weight, would have battered Cotto and Margarito.

And Mosley is far from shot. I hope you know enough about boxing to know that Sergio Mora a middleweight fighting Mosley at a weight he has never looked good at with his style would make Mosley look bad.

In terms of athleticism. His peak was at 130. I terms of skills, intelligence, defense he's still peak.

floyd really has to stop this vacation or one fight a year mentality. i know some of you fans support him for that as "all roads lead to him" and how his ppv numbers are good, how rich he is and all that crap. i'm sure as fans you also want to see him fight more often. at least for me, i don't want a fine-tuned guitar just sitting on the floor. i want to hear it played.

the oscar fight was a risk but a very calculated risk (for the money)

do you think his resume would have been better if he had taken on (and beaten) cotto, margo and williams at 147? c'mon, he took lesser risks for more money. don't blame him but 147 was stacked and he took on hatton and retired

mosley is not what he used to be. mosley looked ok against mora cause mora is absolute ****. the one night in his life he wasn't ****, he caught a 154 pound belt. then went back to being ****

i have to agree with your assessment of mayweather: skill, intellgience and defense he's probably better now than ever thanks to experience

Correction, there's no "if" on Pac only on Floyd.

exactly the point. pac goes to lengths to make fights happen.. fights he should have lost in fantasy match-ups. in some cases, assessments can be fairly accurate, in some cases, things we do not expect simply happen. i have no problem with floyd being ranked reasonably high, but he has to show us through actual fights and not just based on fantasy match-ups.

3 years ago, floyd was ducking them. pac was only a superfeatherweight (130-lber) then.

Has nothing to do with fantasy. Oscar is an ATG. Not the Oscar that Pac fought mind you. With the IV's and loss of about 20lbs. But the one Floyd fought would have schooled Cotto and Margarito.

Hell Mosley who was never as good a boxer as Oscar nearly beat Cotto and completely dismantled and KO'd Margarito, something Pacquiao could not do.

He threw more punches in the final 4 rounds then in the first 4. Not the sign of an old fighter. But merely a fighter who was schooled by a superior one.

When Pac defeats 16 world champions, maybe he'll want to take a break aswell. As of right now he's only at 12, so he has a ways to go.

I don't really care about the fantasy fights those are for fun whatever. But people saying 3 years ago Pac could beat margar or cotto is just crazy.

If or when Floyd beats Pac then what? I ask this question because I notice that the forum is 90% *******s
