Current Middleweight titleholders are as follows:

    Martinez : Ring Belt
    Pirog: WBO
    Chavez Jr: WBC
    Daniel Geale (who?): IBF
    Felix Sturm: WBA

Now Mayweather always goes after WBC belts for some reason, but everyone knows that Martinez is linear Champ. Can Floyd win against Martinez? Or even win any of the belts?

I think he can beat Chavez Jr. and Sturm comfortaby. Geale would be a tough fight but well within Floyd's reach also.

Pirog would probably be too strong for Floyd at the weight and Martinez would be too big and too good all at the same time.

He fought a middleweight already like most *****s are saying here. Ortiz was 164 in that fight.

Definitely. I can see Floyd dismantling Chavez Jr. Sturm i think would be a bit more difficult but he should get a decision.

Yea he could. There were rumors that Floyd would try to win a middleweight title before his career is over. Idk about that though.

He probably could beat Chavez Jr. and Sturm.

Pirog, Martinez, and especially Geale would be tough tasks, though.

Arum wouldn't allow him within 20 feet of Chavez, so that leaves Geale, Pirog, and Sturm. Haven't seen much of Pirog since the Jacobs fight, so I can't say one way or another about him. He could in my opinion beat Sturm though. It wouldn't be a pretty fight at all though and it would be a much more hit and run battle than anything else.

WBC seems to be the only strap that matters to Floyd.

Floyd could take the belt from Cesar Jr easily. Cesar Jr's protected AZZ has fought the kind of talent that has done nothing to prepare him for the likes of Floyd throughout his entire career .

fortunately, for Cesar Jr and his fanbase $ doesn't feel the need to define his legacy by the number of weight classes he has held championships in.

It's all about the PPV events with Floyd

He could possibly beat Chavez, not so sure about Geale, Sturm and Pirog. Not even going to touch on Martinez, he won't fight him.

It would be horrendous for his legacy though. Yet another division he'd have challenged an average champ and avoided the best. Good thing none of them are Golden Boy fighters.

Only chance I see of this happening would be if Canelo beats Chavez Jr next year and you can bet Golden Boy would be pushing for Alvarez-Mayweather as their next big inhouse fight after Khan.
