Forbes beats Hatton in a very easy fight for Forbes.

I'd actually really like to see Hatton vs Forbes just so we could somewhat indirectly gauge Hatton's physical strength compared to Oscar. I honestly think Hatton can stop Forbes. All of Forbes upperbody movement is nice, but his body stays in one place, and Hatton would definitely expose that. Make the fight!!!

Id pick Forbes to beat Hatton over the distance. Style wise it doesnt bode well, we know Forbes has good defence and a solid chin, he cant punch but his game plan wouldnt involve knocking anybody out.

Hatton would come in trying to out hustle Forbes and Forbes will take punishment, but using some skill moves I can see Forbes exposing Hattons weak defence and out pointing over 12.

    Forbes 115-113.:bbb

I just call them how i see them.
Hatton is the most overhyped fighter in recent years. And im not just saying that because he lost to Mayweather. I have been saying this ever since he has failed to live up to the hype since making his HBO debut and thereafter.
Come on Forbes took some good shots from DLH and proved he has a good chin. What makes yu guys think he wont take Hattons shots and outbox him silly like Collazo did. forbes certainly wont stop him but he will outbox him to a wide UD.

your expectations of Hatton are just way too high and thats the bottom line. Hatton is a fantastic fighter with very impressive qualities to his game that most people who understand boxing would appreciate :bart

    Dont you mean MMA?
Hatton probably clinches more than an MMA fighter.
He is a 1-2 then clinch type of fighter. How is that special?
His defense is **** his chin is avg at best and power is ok at 140 only
Oh yea and his technique is ****. He jumps in with his hands down to deliver punches. Mistakes like that make you do a nose dive into the turnbuckle....

Against the lb 4 lb best fighter in the world and one of the most talented fighters that has come along in recent history? :rofl

Give it up man who is Hatton supposed to be Roberto Duran? Regardless of what you think of his style he is a damn good boxer and has accomplished a **** load.

dumb dumb dumb, mistakes like that cost him what,a loss to the p4p best fighter on the planet, forbes isnt no pbf and does not have the counter punching skills to beat hatton or the physical strength, theyre the two things you need and forbes isnt good enough at either, hatton's sheer pace and aggression would be too much for forbes and although it wouldnt be a foregone conclusion there is no real way i could see forbes outboxing hatton to a decision.

I think he has a good chance to beat Hatton. His defense is decent and he is not afraid to open up a little bit.

Forbes only won how many rounds against DLH? Like 1? Does sheer "toughness" win fights? No it doesn't. I don't even think he will have enough toughness to hang with Hatton. People seem to forget that Hatton if given the opportunity can land body shots that break ribs. The guy has sinister leverage in his punches against a stationary target. Forbes can't move like Floyd did, Floyd had Hatton off balance and didn't let him get his power into his shots. Can Forbes paint a masterpiece performance the way Floyd did? The people here saying ridiculous claims like this are completely overrating Forbes performance with DLH and completely underrating the boxing lesson that Floyd unleashed on Hatton. Get real folks.

I don't think Hatton is expected to be a Duran, or some other great legend. but isn't very impressive, to be honest. He is very strong for his weight, and has great cardio, but suffers technicaly. He's a tough lil hooligan, that can be outboxed by someone like forbes. Collazo gave Ricky a mess a problems with is boxing.

It's true one can't compare an Oscar bodyshot to a Hatton one. Oscar might be bigger but just dosn't throw attacks to the body, This is the chance Hatton has. But Hatton will have to do his grappling to make this happen, thats why I say It depends on venue. In the USA Forbes outboxes Ricky to a UD. In the UK Hatton will stop Steve.

We'll see more of Hatton, the Lazcano fight won't realy mean ****. Hatton should knock this bloke and leave him broke. Juan hasn't fought in so long and is shot. But if Lazcano gives The Manchester Mexican any problems, that'll look bad on Ricky. Lazcano can't box, tailored for a Hatton beating.
