Thats the only way I see Forbes winning Decision. Hatton could put his chin out and give free one and not get hurt by Feather Fisted Forbes.

if you think hatton can't box watch his fight against eamon magee on youtube, since his tzsyu fight he simply utilised different tactics that have worked to an extent and although they are spoiling tactics they have done him well.to say that in the US forbes outboxes hatton to a UD is simply bull****,there is no evidence that he could do this,he doesnt have the speed of foot or the punching ability to get away from hatton, forbes is so light fisted his shots will never hold the same impact that pbf's did, forbes isnt strong enough on the inside to tire hatton out like pbf did,he isnt 'smart' enough to spoil hatton and i feel would thoroughly be on his way to a 12 round thrashing.im not the biggest hatton fan in the world and am certainly aware of his flaws but im also not taken by the 'brave' performance forbes gave against de la hoya and i really see no tools that could beat hatton.

It doesnt matter that it was Mayweather that beat him. Everyone who knew anythign about boxing knew that Mayweather was gonna kick his ass no matter what.
Did you forget the Collazo fight where Hatton was almost Knocked out in the last round. He suffered a KD but the ref called it a slip. You dont have to be that good or strong to hurt him obviously. Collazo is as light hitting as they come at WW.

I don't think Forbes could beat Hatton, but I'm not sure to be honest. We will first have to see how Hatton reacts coming off of his first career loss. Will he be able to bounce back? Or will he end up like Jeff Lacy?

again at 147,to dismiss that hatton isnt a different fighter at 147 than at 140 is crazy, all you have to do is look at the performances.

Another thing that bothers me. Why call him the Manchester Mexican when he fights nothing like a Mexican. Mexican boxing is stereotypically about brawling and fighting your hurt out not Clinching. That is a sin in Mexican boxing. He has no attributes of a Mexican fighter except maybe sometimes he does brawl but clinches way too much to be considered one.

I think it more has to do with his heart, in a fight Hatton will not punk out. He'll go out on his shield, like many Mexican fighters. Compredes?

That's what the holding is called spoiling tactics, ok. I have not checked out the Mcgee fight, but I will, see if I might see something to pursuade me differently. Sorry I don't give Hatton more credit, than what I do. I just see Forbes having the necessary footwork to avoid serious danger, enough speed to pop shot, and the conditioning to last 12 rounds. I don't think he'll try the same fightplan like against DLH, he'll box more.

its the eamon magee fight, magee was one of the most technically gifted boxers ever to come from ireland and was the first fighter to ever kd hatton, its a pity he got caught up in some of the bad stuff back here but he still was an animal of a boxer at his peak.

Can't find the Hatton vs Magee, just the Magee vs Anderson. It's easy, imo, to see how hatton would of looked like he had good boxing skills against this defensivless Irish southpaw. Anderson was so flat footed and slow and kept nailing Magee with that right.

But I should see the actual fight.

haha talk about out of context,do you know that during the hatton fight magee was at his peak, against anderson he was a washed up drunk who had a year and a half earlier been beaten and thought to never be able to walk again, furthermore he was 34 and really interested in only money.your comment is sheer ignorance and one that is totally indignified when looking what that man had to go through.

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/3525665.stm

that is an article 3 years before his fight with anderson.
