Ricky was still pretty big when he sparred El Gato, didn't look like he going all out. Mayweather got beat up by Spadafora in sparring, means nothing.
I see why you said my comment was indignified when criticizing Magee in the Anderson fight. I hear ya, poor guy, I give him props for just getting into the ring after that. thanks for the insight. But I don't believe i'm out of my mind or context in sayin' Forbes could pull a decision on Hatton in the USA.
He had two tough rounds and then boxed his ears off. I've already shown you who Forbes has lost to. :rofl
No he wouldn't! I take it you havn't seen much of Ricky's carear. Even against Floyd it wasn't Ricky who was holding. Joe Cortez has proved himself to be a very biassed incompetent referee and should never officiate a top fight again.
Any time they were in the middle of the ring and no holding was allowed PBF dominated Hatton's ass period. He was beating him to the punch and teeing off with straight right hands jabs to the body almost at will. The funniest thing about the fight though was that Ricky was beat at his own game by a guy who everyone thought was soft and would be bullied and worn down by Hatton. Ricky's dad could have been the ref and he would have still gotten taken apart by Mayweather.
i dont think you are out of your mind to believe forbes might be able to beat hatton in the US,everyone's entitled to their opinions but it's just mine that i dont see forbes holding any tools to beat hatton, yes he has the style to do it but he simply isnt good enough at that style. you'd think forbes went the distance with a prime odlh in this fight the way people are talking, the man's had what 3 fights in 4 years, forbes simply isn't good enough to beat hatton at 140,he would get bullied around the ring all night long, forbes does not have the power to keep ricky hatton away and does not have the speed to get away, once ricky got his wee short arms to forbes' inside he'd do enough to take rounds. ricky didnt go life and death with eamon magee,he got kd'd and then showed great boxing skills to take near every round after that..
