Froch looked great against Mack and Bute, but they are not Andre Ward. Froch really wants the rematch. Does he have a chance?

The same chance he had in the first fight.

I think it's possible he'll look even worse. I expect the more versatile, cerebral fighter Ward to adapt & improve more were they to rematch.

    Nope.

Froch is still a really, really good fighter. Ward's a cut above.

He can. Anything is possible. But he won't. You don't go getting shut out one minute -- yes 'shut out', because **** those scorecards -- to getting the win just because you knocked out a scared Bute and a drained C-level fighter. Ward is too good. Proved it comprehensively last year. In fact I'm willing to bet Ward, with two fully-functioning hands, to look even better.

there's always a chance, this is boxing

but being realistic, Carl is 35 and not getting any younger, he will begin to slow down, and it will be much easier for Ward to get the decision (let's face it, Ward is not KO'ing Froch)

I hope a rematch happens and the Cobra proves me wrong!

Ward was clearly gassing late in that fight, so he was working hard to fight Froch. It was one sided, but not effortlessly one sided. The only problem is how can Froch find him?

Ward lands too many punches and breaks both his hands

gotta have a punchers chance, but really I think Ward is better than him.

Very little chance. An upset of this magnitude happens about once a decade or so.

Ward, with an injured hand, dominated that fight. If Carl decides to get more aggressive in the rematch, he gets countered more. If he tries to lay back and box, he gets out boxed.

I like Carl, but this fight is all wrong for him.

After the first fight, I wouldn't have given Froch a chance. Seeing how he's changed his approach in his last two fights, and how fresh he's looked, I'm thinking he might surprise people in a rematch, though I still pick Ward by decision

Of course he can win... it's not likely, but it's possible.

Even guys like old Glen Johnson, Bika, Magee and even Groves have a very small chance against him, but there is a chance. And then we're not even talking cuts and other injuries wich could win them the fight.

I think if they fought 10 times Froch might win one of them. But it would take a broke nose, Jaw or ribs or something like that combined with a knock down or something just to get a points victory. Froch is one of the best fighters in boxing today but Ward is on a different level. Both are great but Ward has what it takes to beat Froch.

Froch has improved quite a bit since he first fought a world class fighter (McGee). The Mack fight is proof of this. I rate Mack about the same as McGee. Maybe a little bit worse cause of the wt cut. But not by much. Froch got hit a lot by McGee and it was a close fight until Froch broke him down. Mack was a brutal onesided destruction. I think thats good evidence he's improved a lot. Howmuch he's improved since the Ward fight I don't know. Probably a little. Maybe not enough.
