Yea, exactly. I agree with what you said. It's a huge If and I personally don't think when Froch retires people will be saying he's an ATG. Personally, I think he loses to Ward, if he fights Bute I would fancy Bute as well.

I know what you're saying, but if anyone had said 3 years ago that Froch would be fighting Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Kessler and Abraham in succession and would only lose one to a tight decision, you'd think they were nuts. I'm not saying his resume will improve from there, but he's proving very hard to beat and he's building a career off proving everyone wrong so far.

The names on his resume are v good. I don't want to take anything away from him , but if you look at Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Kessler and Abraham this way :

    - Green Pascal- legit hard close home win
    - Green Direll - I don`t even wan to talk about this one.
    - Taylor - what is amazing about this fight is actually the balls of Froch ....and that is it. He was loosing untill the last second KO.
    - Eye Problems Kessler - He lost that one. Is was a close fight.
    - Never was and Never will be a legit 168 Abraham - Abrahams 2 best wins are 2 MWs : a Damaged Taylor and Miranda.

The names on his record are good ....but I don't see the ATG material. To be a ATG you need to shine. All Froch did is managed to win one way or the other.

You can do that to any record though, LEts just say froch is on the right path making great moves that are good for hsi legacy and for boxing. I lost money on abraham that night as did a lot of other people. He can box, I will not doubt him anymore, he is no easy win.

The Abraham fight was a 50-50 for me. I was very disappointed by Abrahams display but the man is as limited as that. I don't know why ppls were saying Abraham will win the S6. Based on that Taylor KO?

I thought kessler would win it, yeah it kind of dissapointed me as well becasue i was expecting a foty candidate yet we got a smart boxing display by froch against a clueless abraham while his wife was ruining it by yelling the whole fight.

Like the other poster said you can do that any record. I have seen one guy on here decimate Alis resume by being ultra negative and over critical.

I just made that to make a point about the ATG status. He will probably be an ATG for British boxing for sure. But world wide...NO. He might be a world wide ATG Big Balls boxer. Does that counts for the ATG status???

Its all hypothetical of course:bbb, I would think its pretty awesome if he is able to win the supersix. I would pick bute over him though, and ward has a very good shot as well.

What if Johnson pulls it? Were does Froch goes from there? We are talking about his 4 biggest fights ever. There is no easy fights there 4.

yeah pacman lost twice to marguez, fought a past prime barrerra, morales, de layoya cherry picked fighters that suite his style like hatton, clottey, cotto, diaz.

    its easy to do.

froch doesn't know the meaning of the words cherry pick. he will fight anyone anywhere. his only loss was against kessler which with out making excuses he flew over a week before the fight. not nearly enough. plus had danish crowd to deal with. and it was very close.

the dirrell fight!!! i ask anyone to look good when dirrell is running away like he did against froch. its impossible!!!
