I just do not see froch ending this fight on his feet. I got kessler Knocking froch out during the mid rounds. Too many rights from kessler and not as much from froch. I see kessler accumilating alot of punishment the first 6 rounds and eventually dusting off carl froch soon after. I just see froch getting caught with a big straight right while throwing his looping right and then being finished on the ropes. He's gonna feel more power than what has dazed him so far from dirrell and taylor and he doesn't have the tools to avoid that right like ward did. I can't wait for people to eat thier words some more. The respones to the dirrell and martinez wins were great LOL. I'm ready to see the responses from froch fans when this beating happens
If Kessler wins, I won't do a booradley and ran away. I'll be on here the Sunday congratulation Kessler for what will be a great win. Whether he will win remains to be seen, I've yet to reallly weigh it up or read any real analyse. To be honest, your analyse is limited to 'Froch won't make round 6 because Kessler will land too many right hands'.
I wasn't giving an analysis. Just a pick. If i were giving an analysis It would include what each of them do which makes me feel why I feel the outcome will be this way. Since you asked for one, I might as well give you one. First, Froch is not the type of guy who gives kessler problems. Kessler has been shown by Joe C and Andre ward to not be able to fight backwards against speed. Froch doesn't present that challange and he does not have an arsenal of inside punches contrary to what most believe. Froch likes to fight at distance as does kessler. Kessler is going to out box him there with the quick 1-2s bouncing in and out. Froch is wide open for anything when he throws his right hand. He leaves it down as soon as he brings it back. He also likes to reach on punches out of his distance and I think he get's caught there. Froch doesn't move his head. He keeps his chin tucked to his chest and nothing moves. Kessler has a very good jab which I think will be more effective than froch's jab mainly because froch jabs from the waist and advertises it. I see that 1-2 from kessler landing on froch's chin alot. As for froch having a granite chin. I've been tired of hearing that mess since natural middleweight washed up taylor dropped him (abraham said taylor doesn't punch hard) and the so-called feather fisted dirrell wobbled him. He is in there with someone more powerfull than jermaine taylor and TOUGHER. His chin will be shown for what it is and that is just above average and nothing more. Froch is just a strong guy with a cruiserweight bone struture. He beats people by outlasting them and hammering him with that stiff bone structure power. His jab is stiff but slow and all of his movement is slow. His advantage of being the more sturdy built fighter will not be as big in this fight as he is in with a proven, powerful SMW. People get alot of BS from the ward fight as that was just a bad match up of styles and speed, plus the gameplan on how to use them (hopkins gameplan). Froch will not be coming close to touching kessler 1/5 as much as ward did. Froch will not be able to fight like that and this will be just like any other kessler fight besides the calzaghe and ward ones (remember I said that when it's over). With kessler and a convincing win.
I agree with this. Froch's punches are all long and looping., Even his uppercut is a looooong strange thing. It it akward, but effective. Kessler will probably be the one wanting to get on the inside in this particular fight, since he has a reach problem. Even Perdomo won half the rounds when Kessler was trying to fight him from the outside. Only when Kessler stepped closer and used combinations, was the fight stopped. But if Perdomo can handle Kessler from the outside, I think Froch can even more so.
If Froch can get inside this will be an easy fight for him, Kesslers inside game is absolutely awful compared to his outside game.
Froch should make this an ugly fight early on this will frustrate Kessler who doesn't like it dirty. Fighting on the inside early would be a smart plan to throw Kessler off and then move back on the outside in the mid rounds and catch Kessler with something big when he becomes more reckless because of the dirty inside fighting earlier.
