Most ESB-members agrees Ward will have the upper hand when he faces Froch inside the ring. Ward is faster, have better reflexes, more refined skills, and a superior inside game which is great if you want to spoil the opponents work and nick rounds. Froch, however, have one asset that has proven to win rounds in world level fights: he throws punches in bunches. His workrate is not amazing and Ward is not the kind of guy to get outworked. It is just that the way Froch opens up and throws combos with four or five shots in them could fly pretty well with the judges. And it might be a way to squeeze pass Wards well working defence, which is good but not as great as some make it out to be (both AA and Bika hade some succes). Thoughts? :think
In other words... Since "Froch's workrate is not amazing and Ward is not the kind of guy to get outworked" it seems to you that Froch can use his work rate to outwork Ward? Great logic....
i just can not see Froch wining decision, no way i think if it goes to scorecard it will be clear UD for Ward.
Yes I think so if Ward has low out put and doesnt counter a lot or is smothered in volume maybe but if Ward does damage with his counters or leads he will probably get the nod I feel Froch can make it a tough fight
Froch will win rounds.he might win more than Ward but in the end they fight in US.I thought it will be a fair fight, after Khan fight i'm expecting a robbery, nothing less.Froch is gonna beat fraud but if he don't ktfo him he will loose.
